Description Although regional habitat targets have been agreed, and delivery is supported by robust RSS policies, the WM Biodiversity Strategy and other key plans, in practice the region is not in a position to monitor trends towards or away from these targets in a consistent or comprehensive way. The region cannot currently say what progress it has made towards the target to halt biodiversity loss by 2010.
