Description Map the vulnerability of soils to extreme weather and mapping the contribution soil could make to mitigating climate change by storing carbon.

Also gather evidence on Soils Compaction, a significant and growing environmental problem for the region both in terms of its impact on agriculture (crop yield) but also flood risk (through increased run-​off) and water resources (through reduced recharge of aquifers).
