Description This is a project looking to establish a baseline habitat data set for the region. It has already gone through an early phase of identify n existing knowledge and quality assuring it to produce a first GIS layer. The next phase needs to address the gaps in the data.

Contact Jeff Edwards at the Biodiversity Partnership for more info – seeking a partnership project through the environment topic group to move the work forward.

Claire Edwards (Geographical Information group) is leading in-​house work at Natural England to improve the existing dataset. Claire will update Stephen Howarth (Observatory) on progress.
