This is the technical report from stage one of the West Midlands Biodiversity Partnership's Landscapes for Living project. The project aimed to set out a 50 year vision for biodiversity in the region focussing on the development of a landscape scale approach to restoring and enhancing biodiversity. It also set out to produce a biodiversity opportunity map for the West Midlands. This report describes the methods used for the project and the results from the mapping, visioning and consultation processes and discusses issues raised by the work.
