This report sets out the headline results of the regional perceptions indicator, with a particular focus on the results for the West Midlands.

It is based on three elements: a survey of 1800 residents from across England asking about perceptions relating to living, working, learning and visiting regions; a survey of 1,800 businesses from across England asking about perceptions relating to investing in regions; and a survey of 54 opinion formers, including an international element, asking about perceptions of regions across all dimensions.
