Provision of the service
This service is provided on a voluntary basis by the West Midlands Regional Observatory. We will endeavour to ensure that it is available and effective, but we do not guarantee that it will be available, or that we will answer the enquiries submitted to us within a set time, or at all.
The service may be withdrawn at anytime and without notice.
Information provided by the service
In answering your enquiry we will supply you with information. This information will usually be subject to intellectual property rights (copyright etc.), which you should respect.
In particular you must comply with any confidentiality notices or other licence conditions we may apply to the information, and you may only view, use, download and store the information for personal and internal research use within your firm or company. Commercial re-use of the information we supply is not permitted without our written permission. Likewise, you must not distribute, publish, or otherwise make available any information we supply to third parties for commercial or financial gain, except with our permission.
You may share the information we supply and materials based on it with third parties where this is other than for commercial or financial gain, but you must ensure that, in doing so, the West Midlands Regional Observatory is clearly acknowledged as being the source or collator of the information in question.
Accuracy of Information
We aim to provide a high quality and professional service, but we do not guarantee the accuracy or correctness of the information we supply. Likewise we give no warranty that the information we provide is fit for your purposes. Neither does it constitute any form of advice or recommendation. You must decide for yourself if the information we provide is suitable for your needs.
Liability
We will be under no liability to you whatsoever whether in contract, tort, (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, restitution or otherwise for any damage or direct, indirect or consequential loss (all three of which terms include, without limitation, pure economic loss, loss of profits, loss of business, depletion of goodwill and like loss) howsoever caused arising out of or in connection with using this enquiry service.
You agree to indemnify us from and against any loss, damage, costs, proceedings, claims and liability suffered or incurred by us arising out of or in connection with your use of the enquiry service.
