Centro, the body responsible for promoting and developing public transport across the West Midlands metropolitan area, is working with the Observatory to increase the visibility of Centro data and research through the Resource Catalogue.
Confederation of British Industry (CBI) West Midlands
The CBI in the West Midlands is currently working with the Observatory to increase coverage of CBI research, surveys and reports in the Resource Catalogue.
RDIN Topic Groups
The Economy and Labour Force Topic Group's current mapping project activity is focused on identification of information sources on the theme of graduates in the regional labour market, including graduate retention.
The Society, Demography and Health Topic Group mapping project is currently focusing on resources around the theme of physical activity and access to/use of leisure services. Additionally, members of the group are incorporating resources from their own organisation to the regional resource catalogue hosted on our website.
Voluntary and Community Sector
We are currently working with 'Voluntary and Community Sector Learning and Strategy Group for the West Midlands' to identify research and intelligence from voluntary and community sector organisations.
The aim of this project is to make VCS research accessible to a wider audience through links in our Resource Catalogue and to enable VCS research to influence decision-making in the West Midlands.
Organisations represented in the Learning and Strategy Group include Groundwork West Midlands, Regional Action West Midlands (RAWM) and Community First. Also contributing to the wider VCS project are NIACE.
