Helga is directly responsible with the Government Office Regeneration Director for the performance management of Government Office for the West Midlands against DCLG PSA 1 - Tackling Deprivation.
She presented the latest guidance on the future of the Local Area Agreement programme in the new Local Government White Paper.

Sara Roach
Development Manager, Coventry Partnership
Sara was involved in the development of Coventry's Pilot Local Area Agreement. She talked about some of the issues that Coventry encountered along the way particularly in relation to monitoring, engagement and how they are developing the infrastructure to facilitate the effective delivery and development of Local Area Agreements into the future.

Maxine Bassett
Researcher, Herefordshire Partnership
Maxine also sits within Herefordshire Council's Research Team. Her presentation touched on how the indicators in the Local Area Agreement were established and plans for the new mandatory indicators, as well as looking at any positive or negatives relating to the Local Area Agreement process.

Andy Wright
Head of Strategic Research & Intelligence, Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council
Andy has worked in the public sector since 1981 for West Yorkshire County Council, Malvern Hills District Council, Birmingham City Council and Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council. Andy's presentation gave information about Dudley's organisational arrangements for the LAA, how this reflects the neighbourhood renewal agenda and lastly a brief pass over the nature of the whole experience.
